Also join in our FISHING DISCUSSION FORUM where you may talk about your favorite fishing subjects or issues dealing with our sport.

The intent of this site is to provide some useful information about these Colorado lakes and help us all catch and release more bass. The exchange of this information will help us all learn more about bass fishing and is part of what makes the Internet so useful.

This 6.5 mile long reservoir was constructed as part of the Colorado-Big Thompson Project by building four large earth-filled dams. Spring Creek, Dixon Canyon and Soldier Canyon Dams, each approximately 210 feet high, are built across openings in the long hogback forming the eastern side of reservoir while Horsetooth Dam is constructed across the north end.
