There's nothing I love more than to see "school zone" signs. When I see
those, I know that the children are back in school, the lake lice are pretty
much gone, and fall is just around the corner. There is nothing better than
fishing in the fall. That's the time when topwater lures shine, and fishing
topwater lures is the greatest thrill.
Long Lake is the border of Stevens and Spokane Counties. It is the reservoir portion of the Spokane River. It has 5020 surface acres and many miles of shoreline.
